Villa Dal Pozzo d'Annone Belgirate - Lago Maggiore

Villa dal Pozzo Annone enjoys a magnificent location on the shores of Lake Maggiore, just outside the charming village of Belgirate. In 1827, Ferdinando Arborio, Duke of Sartirana and Marquis of Bremè, gave the villa to his wife Princess Luisa Dal Pozzo della Cisterna as a wedding present and sign of his love. The villa still belongs to the members of the Marquis Dal Pozzo d'Annone family.

Today, six suites in the villa have been transformed in luxurious guest accommodation for a selected clientele. All rooms are furnished with genuine articles of antique furniture and paintings, whilst offering a complete range of modern amenities to meet the requirements of today's travellers.
A further 12 guest bedrooms are now available in the tiny "Borgo Ottocentesco" hamlet situated within the grounds of the Villa Dal Pozzo d'Annone estate. This fascinating cluster of old buildings, which once provided dwellings for fishermen and gardeners, has been restored and expertly converted in super guest accommodation, with full facilities, private parking and wonderful views over lake Maggiore.

An attractive swimming pool situated in the gardens, and a fitness facility with sauna and Turkish bath are all available to guests staying at the villa. In Villa Dal Pozzo d'Annone's extensive parkland a number of trails have been created so as to form pleasant jogging or walking routes.

Those guests wishing to savor the traditional flavours of the Piedmont culinary tradition will be delighted to discover the "Stendhal" Bistrot-Wine Bar. Located in rooms which once served as the wine cellars of the "Borgo Ottocentesco", this charming eatery offers a menu featuring a number of delicious local specialities to be accompanied by excellent regional wines.
