Zubebi Resort Pantelleria

Pantelleria's Zubebi Resort is situated inland, resting on hillside of this Sicily's island, from where to experience spectacular views including some of the world's most stunning sunsets. The Zubebi Resort offers guests accommodation in a series of "dammusi", the traditional stone dwellings found scattered around the island. These spartan, cubical shaped buildings have extremely thick walls and only the narrowest of openings, features which provided efficient protection from the extremes of heat and cold to which the islanders were once so often exposed.

The dammusi have been converted so as to maintain all the appeal of their traditional features whilst allowing for those additional comforts that even the most adventurous modern traveller requires. Some of the units lead out on to a private terrace complete with shady pergola.
