Villa Uliveto Positano

Villa Uliveto is reached via a country road, above Positano lined with olive trees and flowers. It is set amid a well-maintained lawn with countless trees; the private gardens and terraces are planted with palm trees, bougainvillea and other flowering plants. The villa Uliveto was constructed using the local volcanic stone (tufo). It was lovingly and carefully furnished with antiques, prints, watercolors and ceramic works of art that preserve the traditions of the region of Campania. Villa Uliveto is regularly used by its owners, and has a lived-in feel. The owner designed the interior of the house using the fresh colors of blue, white and yellow; this theme is evident in the fabrics, wall coverings, painted doors and colored tile floors. They combine to create a wonderful seaside home that is truly representative of its region.

The property is in a very panoramic position, with stunning views of the Amalfi Coast from the gardens and villa. The first floor contains the living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom and bathroom, and the powder room. The living room is cozy, with comfortable and inviting seating areas for reading, and a working fireplace. Double doors open directly to a vine covered terrace on the edge of the garden with ample furniture for relaxing. The dining room is spacious, with seating for 10-12 people. The doors of this room also open to the terrace.

The Cottage is in the garden, about 200 feet away from the main villa. It has a sitting room with a sofa bed that can become a single bed. The delightful double bedroom with terracotta floors has an ensuite bathroom with a shower. The Cottage is never rented separately from the main villa, and is available only in high season, from June through September.
