Villa Luppis Rivarotta di Pasiano

The origins of Villa Luppis, situated on the confluence of the rivers Livenza and Meduna and just a 40 minute drive away from Venice, date back to the 11th century when a monastery was built on the site by Camaldolite monks.

The war between the Republic of Venice and the House of Hapsburgs, resulted in serious damage being caused to the building and in 1500 the ecclesiastical complex was completely restructured. At the start of the 19th century, when Napoleon secularized great part of the monasteries throughout Italy, the estate was acquired by the Chiozza - Luppis family who used the property as their sumptuous country residence.

Villa Luppis has been recently transformed in stunning 4 star hotel. Guest accommodation is provided in 39 bedrooms and suites, all elegantly appointed and offering a superb range of modern amenities. The Villa's suites, adorned with unique pieces of antique furniture from various historical periods and sumptuous Italian textiles, are particularly luxurious.
