Villa Le Scale Anacapri

The luxury Villa Le Scale is a superb early 19th century residence situated in Anacapri, in the vicinity of the house in which the Swedish author and physician Axel Munthe resided and which has now been transformed in museum.

Villa Le Scale, one of very few mansion houses in Anacapri to have been built in Neoclassical style, was once home to the Barons Monti della Corte. Today's owner, one of Italy's most highly esteemed antiquarians and art collectors, personally supervised the property's refurbishment and its transformation in intimate, luxury villa for exclusive rental and events.

The décor in each of Villa Le Scale's 7 en-suites bedrooms has been inspired by the world of art and travel, themes particularly dear to the proprietor's heart. LCD satellite televisions, DVD players, and high speed internet access, are standard features in all rooms.

Interiors adorned with exquisite antique furnishings and period artworks lead out in to terraced gardens in which to find a magnificent display of hibiscus, passion-flowers, hydrangeas, roses and magnolias; all of which fill the air with the unmistakable scent of the Mediterranean. In a particularly sunny part of the garden, there is a swimming pool and solarium.
