Villa Castellani Sermide

In the quiet town of Sermide, in the heart of the Padana plain, on the banks of the river Po, lies Villa Castellani: a recently restored 19th century residence immersed in beautiful gardens and parkland. This elegant, two storey country house is comprised of five individually appointed bedrooms, a large reception area, two drawing rooms, a dining room and kitchen. The rooms have all been stylishly decorated in pale pastel colours and adorned with rare antiques and period paintings. Villa Castellani is available for weekly stays and for a maximum of 10 guests.

Guests sojourning at Villa Castellani relax in the attractive public rooms or by the swimming pool in the wonderfully secluded and peaceful gardens. The Sermide, Ostiglia, and Carbonara Po Nature Reserves are all close to the villa, offering guests the opportunity to observe the area's abundant flora and fauna in its natural habitat.

An excellent base for those wishing to explore the Po valley, Villa Castellani enjoys an exceptionally strategic position, close to the city of Mantova and within easy driving distance of Verona, Padua, Vicenza, Ferrara, Modena, Bologna, Este, Montagnana, and Monselice. Lake Garda to the North and Venice, Ravenna, and Parma to the East all provide excellent destinations for a day trip.
