Valle Rita Ginosa

In the countryside of Ginosa, a small town located in the Northern part of Puglia's Salento region, lies Valle Rita. This fascinating property is situated on an organic farm where over a hundred hectares of land are used for the cultivation of fruit and vegetables. Historically, the estate was part of the Girifalco fiefdom and the farmstead, dating back to the 1700's, served not only as administrative headquarters of the agricultural activity but also as watchtower from where to survey the whole of the Vallone di Rita and the flat plains of Metaponto.

In recent years, Valle Rita has opened its doors to visitors to the area, offering authentic farmhouse holidays in attractive apartments, all of which decorated with traditional country furnishings and equipped with a range of modern amenities.

The restaurant located in the main farmhouse, offers guests the opportunity to savour the delectable gastronomic specialities of the region, prepared using the organic produce cultivated on the farm. Fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables are available for purchase directly at the farmhouse, as are the estate's superb olive oil and DOC wines.

A large open air swimming pool is situated in the gardens of Valle Rita. Other on-site leisure facilities include a recreation center, fun park, and tennis court. An excellent location for families but also for golf enthusiasts, Valle Rita lies just a few kilometers away from the 18 hole Riva Dei Tessali golf course. In spaces originally serving as 18th century refuge, a modern conference room has been created, complete with audiovisual equipment and reception area.
