Torre Palombara Narni

In the 15th century, on a site overlooking the hill-top town of Narni, the construction of Torre Palombara began. Today, this lovely ancient building, set amidst trees and gardens, amongst hay and sunflower fields, is an ideal retreat in the Umbrian countryside.

Providing all one could wish for in modern holiday accommodation, this beautiful villa still has the comfortable feel of a private home. There are six bedrooms, a suite and an apartment to choose from.

The elegant décor complements the period interiors and their furnishings and features. Warm tones set off the magnificent 18th century fireplace in the lounge. The upper floors are reached by a marvellous wooden staircase. In the dining room, soft hues provide a relaxing atmosphere for guests as they look out on the magical Umbrian countryside.

In the peaceful grounds there are inviting gazebos and a sun-soaked pool area surrounded by flowers. Guest are free to wander off amongst the trees and across the fields of the Torre Palombara estate, enjoying vistas of the stunning landscape.
