In each and every one of the Hotel Splendide Royal's 69 guest bedrooms and suites one finds a delightful combination of 17th century style luxury and the very latest in contemporary technology. Thus antique furniture and sweeping draperies live side by side the latest audiovisual facilities and wireless connectivity. The rooms' spacious terraces provide marvellous views of Rome and the city's Villa Borghese gardens. Almost all of the marble bathrooms have windows which provide a natural source of light. The public rooms are wonderfully opulent. The hall, the floors of which have been laid with finest Italian marble, is lit by the huge Murano glass chandelier chosen by the late Italian film director, Luchino Visconti, for the unforgettable ballroom scene in his 1963 Palme d'Or "The Leopard". The shimmering glass ceilings of the hotel's Winter Garden create a delightful play of light across ornate stucco work and the immense mirrors which line the walls.

On the 7th floor of the Hotel Splendide Royal, and offering a vista which encompasses almost every monument within the ancient city of Rome, one finds the gourmet "Mirabelle" restaurant. Here, from the dizzy heights of the hotel's roof top terrace, the Splendide Royal's Executive Chef, creates exquisite seasonal menus which have gained the restaurant resounding international acclaim and a much coveted Michelin Star.

Three function rooms, offering maximum comfort and the latest in meeting room technology have a seating capacity for 10 to 50 participants. An additional board room is located in the presidential suite. Cocktails and banquets for as many as 130 guests are hosted in the Limonaia, situated on the 6th floor of the hotel and overlooking the Villa Borghese Gardens.
