San Lorenzo della Rabatta Perugia

A twisting country track leads through the woods and olive groves of the softly undulating Umbrian countryside just outside Perugia to the tiny hamlet of San Lorenzo della Rabatta: a cluster of stone cottages and a medieval church, the earliest mention of which dates back to the 12th century and the 1163 Diploma of Federico I.
Now the site of an exclusive farm stay, San Lorenzo della Rabatta, is surrounded by 33 hectares of woodland permeated with attractive pathways to be followed on foot or by mountain bike. Encircling the flower filled courtyard there are 6 stone cottages of various dimensions which accommodate from 2 to 10 people. Careful restoration work has conserved the vaulted ceilings, stone fireplaces and terracotta paving tiles. The décor is one of stylish elegance and features beautiful pieces of period furniture, typical of rural Umbria, canopied beds, embroidered linen, and walls painted in fabulous warm earthy tones.

There is no lack of modern conveniences and independent heating systems ensure a comfortable stay even in the coldest months of the year.
Each cottage has its own fully equipped kitchen, some with washing machine and dishwasher. Satellite TVs are available in every apartment.
In a secluded part of the spacious grounds there is a 7 by 15 mt swimming pool and solarium.

In the immediate vicinity of San Lorenzo dell Rabatta, one finds a riding school and golf course.
