The ten-storey-high Hotel Principe di Savoia, with its striking neo-classical façade, dominates Milan's Piazza della Repubblica, from where it has been offering the highest standards of hospitality and service since the 1920's. Three basic interior décor themes prevail in the hotel's 269 guest rooms and 132 suites;

Venetian-style rooms feature rich gold and ochre silks and velvets within a warm neutral setting with contrasting turquoise and Murano glass mirrors. Sculptured desks have been forged from white onyx and steel. Imaginative mosaic walls decorate the bathrooms which also feature Brazilian rosewood vanities topped with ochre glass. Florentine-style rooms are framed in very soft blue-grey walls and punctuated with the inspired use of rich blue damask silks.

Embossed ice-blue leather cover the smoked oak of the study/dressing room doors. Headboards are of Brazilian rosewood. The glass mosaic walls in the bathrooms echo the soft blue hues of the bedroom. In the Neo-Classical rooms, bronze floor lamps and crystal-drop chandeliers highlight the touches of rich ruby and amethyst set against the cool neutrals of the background. The bathrooms feature fanciful glass and mosaic walls and European walnut vanities topped with ruby red glass.
