Palazzo Sant'Angelo Venezia

Palazzo Sant'Angelo is a delightful small hotel situated on Venice's Grand Canal, between the Rialto and Accademia bridges and within easy walking distance of all of the city's principal tourist sites and museums. A luxurious boutique hotel, the Palazzo Sant'Angelo occupies what was once the private residence of members of the Venetian nobility. The hotel is accessed by pedestrian entrance or, for those guests wishing to arrive at the property by boat or gondola, via Palazzo Sant'Angelo's own private landing stage.

The hotel has a total of just 14 rooms and suites, all furnished in classical Venetian style, with delicate crimson and gold wall coverings and exquisite pieces of traditional furniture. Sweeping drapes hang from windows offering views of the quiet side canal or charming hotel garden. A number of the suites open out on to balconies overlooking the Grand Canal. The Italian white Carrara and Green Alp marble bathrooms are all fitted with whirlpool bathtubs.

The public rooms of the Hotel Palazzo Sant'Angelo are superbly elegant yet welcoming. The main hall features a stunning original Palladian floor motif and a magnificent old stone fireplace. The large windows offer views of the Grand Canal. An excellent breakfast buffet is served in the hotel's intimate wood panelled dining room. The bar of the Palazzo Sant'Angelo hotel provides a wonderfully comfortable environment where to partake in a cocktail or leisurely after-dinner drink.
