Montebelli Grosseto

In the heart of Maremma, within an estate comprising some 100 hectares of countryside, much of which used for the cultivation of grapes and olives, lies the Montebelli Country Hotel and Farm Stay. Today's establishment is the result of the restoration and subsequent conversion of an old Tuscan farmhouse and 13th century olive press.

Montebelli provides accommodation in the old farmhouse or the new Country Hotel. The 20 bedrooms and and 1 suite, situated in the farmhouse feature a charming combination of classic Italian and traditional Tuscan furnishings. The 24 rooms and suites in the Country Hotel are furnished in modern Italian style. All rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including wireless internet connectivity.

Guests dining at Montebelli's restaurant are presented with menus featuring all the best-loved Tuscan dishes, in which the connoisseur will be able to identify more than a pinch of Neapolitan culinary flair. Only the finest organic ingredients are used in the busy hotel kitchen, ingredients such as Montebelli's flavour-packed organic vegetables and extra virgin olive oil. Delicious light lunches and snacks are served in the bar which, in the evening, transforms in stylish venue where to partake in an aperitif or after dinner drink amongst friends.

The hotel's new Living Centre, is a superb, multi-functional space with reading room, pool room, meeting room, reception and bar.

For those wishing to indulge in a massage, chromotherapy, a steam bath or sauna, Montebelli's Health and Beauty Centre, with fabulous heated swimming pool, is the perfect place, whatever the weather.

Within the grounds of the hotel, there are any number of places where to relax in the sunshine or practice outdoor sporting activities such as tennis, mountain biking, jogging, swimming and, of course, horse riding. Montebelli has a long tradition of horse breeding and is pleased to organise riding lessons for guests of every age. Close to the hotel there are two prestigious golf courses.
