Locanda Rocco Sirolo

Locanda Rocco is located on the walls of the Medieval town of Sirolo, arguably the most beautiful resort on the whole of the Conero Riviera. The origins of the hotel date back to the early part of 14th century, when it served as Inn providing lodging and sustenance to pilgrims and merchants travelling along the Conero road.

This fascinating historic building has recently been the subject of a meticulous restoration project which has succeeded in conserving the centuries old traditional architectural features of the medieval structure, whilst conceding the unobtrusive integration of those modern facilities required by today's guests.

The Locanda Rocco hotel has a total of just 7 guest bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom with shower. The individually appointed rooms, are characterised by wonderful terracotta floors, exposed stonework and timber beams. The rooms are decorated with a stylish combination of period and modern furniture, in soothing neutral tones.

An excellent menu of local fish and sea food specialities is presented to guests dining at the Locanda Rocco's restaurant, accompanied by a wine list featuring a careful selection of regional wines. In warm weather, meals are served al fresco in the tiny square in front of the hotel.

The beaches are accessible using a half-hourly bus service that drops down to the sea edge, where to explore the fascinating natural cavities formed by the sea in the white rock and bathe in the crystal clear waters. Golf enthusiasts will be delighted to discover that Sirolo is home to the Conero Golf Club, the finest course in the Marche region.
