Locanda di Palazzo Cicala is a unique 4 star hotel situated in the heart of Genoa, opposite the Cathedral and just a short walk from Palazzo Ducale and the old harbour. The hotel occupies the first floor of the historic sixteenth century Palazzo Cicala, once home to the city's noble Cicala family.

The Palazzo, subject of a recent renovation project, still maintains traces of a medieval loggia on the façade overlooking Piazza Duomo and boasts fabulous Rococo style stucco decorations dating back to the 18th century. The Locanda di Palazzo Cicala has a total of six spacious and gloriously quiet guest bedrooms located on the first floor of the palazzo with views out onto the charming Piazza Scuola Pie.

The rooms, measuring from 30 to 40sqm all feature high arched ceilings and ornate stucco work. The bedrooms are equipped with excellent office facilities, perfect for those travelling to Genoa on business, including telephone, fax, personal computer, fast internet connection, radio and satellite television and DVD player.

The superb ultra modern interiors of the hotel, designed so as to be in perfect harmony with the historic structure of the building, are the work of highly reputed Italian architect Andrea Freggia.
