Le Torri di Bagnara Pieve San Quirico

Recently listed in Condè Nast's Architectural Digest as one of Umbria's finest establishments, Torri di Bagnara is a fabulous historic residence, situated just a few kilometers away from Perugia, on the hillside overlooking the northern Tiber Valley.

The property features 2 medieval buildings; an 11th century Abbey and a 12th century watch tower. The buildings have been completely restored, in accordance with the directives of the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage, using old materials and traditional building techniques, and transformed in superb guest accommodation.

The Tower apartments and Abbey rooms, with breathtaking views over the valley and the surrounding hillside, are all tastefully furnished with beautiful textiles and unique pieces of period furniture so as to create a luxurious and welcoming environment. The rooms are all equipped with the latest modern conveniences.

The two buildings are surrounded by extensive gardens featuring olive and fruit trees and a large kitchen garden, where many of the organic ingredients used in the delicious dishes served in Torri di Bagnara's restaurant are grown. Excellent traditional local cuisine but also vegan, gluten-free and dairy free dishes are available to guests choosing to dine at the property's new restaurant.

Guests staying at the property have access to a large salt water swimming pool situated in a part of the garden which catches the sun from dawn until dusk. They are also able to visit the farm on foot, by bike or by four-wheel drive, and are welcome to observe the animals, pick the woodland berries, and visit the remains of the five medieval castles located within the estate grounds.

Torri di Bagnara has a small function room for a minimum of 10 participants. The old church provides additional meeting space for up to 80 people.
