The Bed & Breakfast Le foglie di Acanto is located in a fabulous 19th century palazzo in the historic center of Lucera, Puglia. Lucera lies in the heart of the Tavoliere delle Puglie, from where all of the most celebrated sites of the region are within easy reach; places such as Manfredonia, San Giovanni Rotondo, and the area of the Gargano, Peschici, Vieste and the Tremiti islands.
Driving instructions for the town of Lucera are extremely straight forward: Those travelling by car from Rome should take the A1 Roma-Napoli motorway, and exit at San Vittore, then take the SS17 highway following the indications for Venafro, Isernia, Campobasso and then Lucera.
From Bologna the journey is even simpler; via the A14 Bologna-Bari motorway with exit for Lucera.
From Naples take the A16 Napoli-Canosa motorway and exit at Candela. From here proceed in the direction of Foggia (km 38) until reaching Lucera.
The nearest railway station is that of Foggia (km 18). From here a bus service for Lucera departs every 30 minutes.
