The Andana hotel is situated in the beautiful countryside of Tuscany's Maremma region, at the foot of the Chianti hills and within easy reach of the coast. Once the summer residence of Duke Leopold, this 16th century villa has been transformed in a truly unique hotel, offering the highest standards of accommodation and cuisine and a superb spa facility.

Architect and interior designer, Ettore Mocchetti, is the man responsible for the hotel Andana's stylish guest bedrooms and suites, the latter featuring magnificent stone fireplaces, and huge beds offering views out on to gardens dotted with century old olive trees.

The Andana is an established Tuscan haven for true gourmands; the hotel's name by now quite inextricably linked with that of the great French chef Alain Ducasse, whose culinary genius lies behind the menus of the "Trattoria Toscana" and the hotel's deliciously light gourmet spa dishes. The Andana cooking school, offers a series of much requested cooking courses to introduce students to the culinary traditions of the Maremma and Ducasse's brilliant interpretation of Tuscan cuisine.

The hotel's "Espa" is a superb wellness facility comprised of 4 treatment rooms including 2 spa suites, in which a variety of massages, facial treatments and holistic therapies are performed. The Andana has 3 swimming pools. To the rear of the hotel, a 3 hole putting green has been created for those golfers wishing to practice their skills before moving on to one of the 18 hole golf courses located on the Tuscan coast.
