Imperial Hotel Tramontano Sorrento

The Imperial Hotel Tramontano, situated in Sorrento, boasts a fabulous panoramic position overlooking the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. Once a private residential villa, part of which dates back to the 16th century, the building has functioned as luxurious hotel since the early 19th century.

Almost 200 years after its inauguration, the Imperial Hotel Tramontano still exudes the elegance of the past, in frescoed salons and rooms adorned with exquisite majolica, antique statues, period oil paintings and beautiful items of the traditional inlaid furniture for which Sorrento's cabinet makers became famous throughout the world.
