Hotel Signum Malfa - Salina - Isole Eolie

The charming 4 star Hotel Signum, was created from a group of age old dwellings located on the Aeolian island of Salina, moments away from the Mediterranean sea and in the vicinity of two dramatically beautiful inactive volcanoes.

The hotel has 30 individually decorated bedrooms, each given a name of one of the flowering plants indigenous to this greenest of Sicilian islands. A number of the bedrooms have terraces and balconies. All have charming views of the sea or the hotel gardens. The guest rooms of the Hotel Signum are fitted with every modern comfort.

The beautiful hotel swimming pool is surrounded by sweet smelling lemon groves and enjoys views across the waters to the islands of Panerea and Stromboli.

In the hotel's informal restaurant, guests savor the best of the Aeolian gastronomic tradition with deliciously light Mediterranean dishes featuring fish, homemade pasta and seasonal vegetables. Hotel Signum's wine list offers a fine range of red and white wines including a selection of champagnes and the sweet Malvasia wine, this latter produced on the island.

The hotel's new Salus per Aquam Spa, the opening of which coincided with the hotel's twentieth anniversary, has been designed so as to recreate the atmosphere of the traditional Aeolian thermal baths. Here, as in ancient times, the island's mineral rich geothermal waters, are used in a series of marvellously invigorating, energy-restoring treatments.
