Hotel Ravesi Salina - Isole Eolie

It was 1870 when the Ravesi family decided to convert a series of old dwellings and outbuildings in the center of Malfa into a hotel in which to offer hospitality to the first tourists arriving on the island of Salina.

Hotel Ravesi's traditional Aeolian decor has remained largely unaltered by the passage of time, and is still characterized by a succession of pretty terraces, verandas, porticoes, and pergolas all of which provide enchanting spaces in which to relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounding scenery. Bedrooms contain the perfect combination of past and present, featuring typical wooden ceilings and floors in Sicilian terracotta, as well as air conditioning, ipod stations and internet connectivity. From their bedrooms, guests walk out on to splendid terraces and balconies with marvelous views of the sea.

Created in an old farm lodge, where the islanders used to produce Salina's famous Malvasia wine, the Lounge Bar is the heart of hotel life. This is where, during the day, breakfast, light lunches and snacks are served and where, from sunset onwards, the terraces are transformed into one of Salina's most glamorous open air venues where all genre of social events and live music concerts are held.

Salina and the other islands which make up the Aeolian archipelago are a sea lover's paradise. When not lazing by the hotel's panoramic swimming pool, holidaymakers staying at the Ravesi night easily spend entire days exploring the island's sun-kissed beaches, tiny bays and hidden coves, or sailing to the neighboring islands of Panarea and Stromboli.
