Taormina's Hotel Monte Tauro is a stunning modern hotel built in the 1970s based on a bold and futuristic design concept, a light filled building which makes the most of the cliff edge location overlooking the Sicilian sea.

Careful renovation work has ensured that all the best features of the original design have been maintained whilst allowing for the addition of high tech in-room facilities, an environmental friendly diffuse lighting system and innovative new materials such as those used for the flooring of the rooms and terraces and the silk effect plastering on the walls.

The hotel's 100 bedrooms and suites, all with beautifully designed modern interiors, face out over a panorama extending from the Gulf of Naxos to Mount Etna. From their rooms guests have free access to a fast broad band internet connection. PCs are available on request. Each and every one of the hotel's 15 Junior Suites has a Jacuzzi and a spacious sea view terrace.

The light filled hotel restaurant also enjoys spectacular views over the Gulf of Naxos. The menu is characterized by delicious Mediterranean dishes, all of which are prepared using the best local produce. Meetings for 20 to 80 participants are held in the hotel's function room.
