Hotel Majestic Roma

The Hotel Majestic, located in the beautiful historic building of Villa Ludovisi, was one of the first hotels to be built on Rome's Via Veneto, just steps away from the gardens of Villa Borghese, and within easy walking distance of the Trinità dei Monti and the Spanish Steps.

Inaugurated in 1889, the Hotel Majestic first gained world wide fame in the 1920's when it became the chosen residence in Rome for any number of travel-happy European Royals and Italian and international celebrities, attracted by the hotel's fabulous location and its sumptuous interiors decorated with rare antique artefacts, rich textiles, and immense frescoes by Domenico Bruschi from Perugia.

In 1990, the hotel was the subject of an extensive restoration project which, as well as restoring the Majestic's past splendour, allowed for the incorporation of state of the art technology and a number of additional features such as an ultra modern fitness center.

The Hotel Majestic has individually appointed rooms and suites, furnished with a delightful combination of period pieces and modern articles tailor made for each room.
