Hotel Lady Luysa is a historic villa transformed in 4 star hotel by the present owner, Lucy Giardina Truini, who fell in love with the property owned by her grandfather and decided to restore the building to its former glory.
This fascinating building, situated in what was once the Spinagallo Manor, dates back to the Bourbon era. Initially the home of a family of the Sicilian aristocracy, in the early 1800's the villa became the residence of a cardinal. Lucy, born in Connecticut (U.S.A) of an American mother and father from Siracusa, completed the building's transformation in hotel in 2002 and has since managed the business together with her father Santo, husband Pietro and son Kris.
The hotel, open all year round, has 17 beautifully furnished rooms and suites, large swimming pool, and a restaurant serving traditional Sicilian cuisine.
A popular choice for those visiting Eastern Sicily, Hotel Lady Lusya is close to Siracusa, in the valley at the feet of the Iblei mountains. The beautiful sandy beaches of Fontane Bianche are just a few kilometers away.
