In a beautifully peaceful area of Venice's Cannaregio district, one finds the delightfully secluded Boscolo Hotel dei Dogi. The hotel occupies the supremely elegant 18th century Palazzo Rizzo Patarol, which once served as the French and Savoyan embassies in Venice.

In the 1700's, the area around the Madonna dell'Orto, where the Palazzo was built, constituted one of the very few places in Venice where land was destined for the cultivation of crops. This explains how, in a city largely bereft of gardens, the Boscolo Hotel dei Dogi boasts such an extensive one. The garden of the Palazzo, which stretches out from the rear of the property to the edge of the lagoon, is a veritable urban oasis, abundant in flora and dotted with ornamental benches hidden in secret corners amidst the trees.

The Boscolo Hotel dei Dogi has 76 beautifully decorated guest bedrooms and suites. The hotel's 10 individually appointed Junior Suites are especially luxurious and feature oriental carpets, hand painted period wardrobes and exquisite Murano glass chandeliers. The split level Presidential Suite, with sumptuous dayroom and balconied sleeping area, is immersed in the green of the gardens. Incredible views of the lagoon can be enjoyed through the huge floor to ceiling windows.

The Boscolo Hotel dei Dogi is an excellent location for meetings and high profile events. Two gracious function rooms offer a total capacity for 200 guests, and top level catering services are provided by the highly acclaimed Istituto Superiore Arti Culinarie Etoile. Delicious Venetian and international cuisine is served at the Boscolo Hotel dei Dogi's much loved restaurant. On summer evenings guests are able to dine by candle light in the garden.
