Grand Hotel Capodimonte

Grand Hotel Capodimonte Sorrento

Grand Hotel Capodimonte boasts a magnificent cliff edge position location from where it dominates the town of Sorrento and the Gulf of Naples. Guests enter the hotel via an imposing entrance carved in to the rock face, from where elevators transport them to the reception lobby situated on the 5th floor of the hotel.

The décor of the main lobby and lounge of the Grand Hotel Capodimonte is pure 1970's chic. The interiors of the bedrooms and suites are decidedly Mediterranean, with emphasis being given to soft neutral and pastel tones. From their room guests enjoy breathtaking views of the Gulf of Naples, Mount Vesuvius, and Sorrento.

Via a spectacular majolica lined tunnel, guests gain access to "Bougainvillea" snack bar and restaurant, the gardens and the hotel's swimming pools. "Le Ginestre" and "Le Querce" are the names of the Grand Hotel Capodimonte's 2 panoramic restaurants, each serving exquisite Italian and international cuisine and a selection of superb wines. During Sorrento's long warm summer evenings, dinner is served on the terraces of the Le Querce.

Sorrento is an increasingly popular destination for high level, business-motivated events. Grand Hotel Capodimonte provides a number of small meeting rooms and 2 large panoramic function rooms for such occasions, offering a seating capacity for 20 to 200 participants.
