Eremo Delle Grazie Spoleto

In the countryside just outside Spoleto, lies the sacred wood of Monteluco, wood in which St Isac sought refuge and where a congregation of monks lived for centuries. Today, their hermitage, the Eremo delle Grazie, has been transformed in unique hotel.

Guest accommodation is provided in just ten suites, created in what were once the hermits' humble cells. Each room now contains a charming combination of antique furnishings and contemporary comforts. Exposed wooden beam ceilings, floors in smooth terracotta, magnificent wrought iron beds, beautiful textiles and unique artworks, all these elements produce a sensation of warmth and luxury which, perhaps, the devout former residents might never have even dared imagine.

Who knows if the Hermit Fathers of Monteluco would have been able to resist temptation had they been presented with the same delicious Umbrian cuisine served at Eremo delle Grazie's restaurant? What is certain is that very few of today's guests deprive themselves of the opportunity to savour the dishes for which the region is famous, or to sample at least one of the wines housed in the hotel's cellar - cellar created in a cave thought to have provided shelter for one of the hermitage's very first inhabitants. Unique location where to host an important gala dinner or wedding reception, Eremo delle Grazie also caters for small scale business meetings and seminars.

On site leisure facilities at the hotel include a swimming pool and solarium, both located in gardens from where to admire beautiful views out over the surrounding countryside. In the immediate vicinity of the hermitage there are numerous trekking and walking paths, mountain bike routes and rafting facilities.
