Casa Lemmi San Quirico d'Orcia

Casa Lemmi is situated right in the center of San Quirico D'Orcia, close to the 12th century Collegiata Church; one of the Medieval town's most stunning examples of Romanesque Gothic architecture. Palazzo Lemmi has a fascinating history. Dating back to Norman times, through the centuries the building has been a refuge for the Knights Templar, an Imperial residence, convent, fortified house and for over three centuries as the home of the landowners of a large agricultural estate in the Val d'Orcia.

The wing of the building, which originally served for agricultural purposes, has been completely restored and transformed in fabulous guest accommodation. Casa Lemmi has double rooms and suites, all designed so as to offer the maximum in comfort. The rooms are all surprisingly spacious and feature original exposed wooden beam ceilings and pieces of traditional Tuscan furniture. The walls of the light-filled "Blue Room", as the name would suggest, are painted in a soothing shade of sky blue.
