Borgo Lucignanello

Borgo Lucignanello San Giovanni d'Asso

The Tuscan retreat which dreams are made of, Borgo Lucignanello is a period residence comprised of five, finely restored apartments and a farmhouse in the medieval hamlet of Lucignano d'Asso, fraction of San Giovanni d'Asso.

Borgo Lucignanello is beautifully located in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, between the Crete Senesi and Val d'Orcia. The historic hilltop towns of Montalcino, Montepulciano and Pienza, the thermal baths of Bagno Vignoni, and the magnificent art city of Siena are all just a few kilometers away.

Each of the Borgo's apartments is comprised of a fully equipped kitchen, a large living room with open fireplace and one or two double bedrooms. Just outside the hamlet walls, what was once a granary has been converted in charming four bedroom villa, with private garden and swimming pool.

At Borgo Lucignanello, holidaymakers spend hours basking in the sunshine by the infinity pool overlooking the gently rolling hillside or enjoying one of the activities organized in and around Lucignano d'Asso. Tastings of the resort's extra virgin olive oil, truffle hunts, cooking courses, wine tours, and visits to the local farms and dairies: these are just some of the ways in which guests are invited to pass the time of day, Tuscan style.
