Adler Thermae San Quirico d'Orcia

The Adler Thermae Hotel is located just outside the ancient spa town of Bagno Vignoni, a miniscule Tuscan village known since the times of the Etruscans for the health-inducing properties of the hot mineral rich spring waters which surface here.

Within sight of the Adler Thermae, is the imposing form of Tuscany's Monte Amiata, the source of the curative thermal waters of Bagno Vignoni. Deep inside the mountain the rainwater collects and seeps slowly through the bedrock over the decades until - enriched with vital minerals and sulphur - it surfaces again at a temperature of 50° C forty kilometers away, in the grounds of the resort.

The Adler Thermae Hotel offers a series of both traditional and innovative spa treatments, including mud applications, herb steam saunas and baths in the underground salt grotto where guests can lounge in waters with salt levels similar to those found in the Dead Sea. In addition to its spa facilities, the Adler Thermae Hotel organises fitness activities including yoga, Acqua gym and pilates. A 14km jogging or walking trail leads guests along a natural path through the Tuscan countryside.

A combination of traditional and modern architecture provides welcoming light-filled rooms and family suites, all of which are equipped with the latest in-room technology including bio-acclimatisation. "Vital-Minibars" are packed with healthy snacks and drinks. Balconies and terraces afford breathtaking views out over Tuscany's Val d'Orcia, towards Siena.

Evening meals are served in the hotel's "Starlight Roof" restaurant, where to enjoy the finest Tuscan cuisine. During the day, the "Osteria" serves a delectable Adler Lunch, with a choice of crispy salads, grilled fish and meat.
